Research: The Pitocin label states that it is NOT indicated for elective induction of labor. Intranasal formulations have been through early-phase trials for chronic migraine (NCT01839149 and NCT05679908) and for female sexual dysfunction in menopause (NCT02229721). All three are registered as completed, and their topline results could not be retrieved for this review, so this page claims no outcome from them.
