Research: TAZPOWER Part 1, the randomised double-blind placebo-controlled crossover phase, MISSED both of its primary endpoints, the 6-minute walk test and the Barth syndrome symptom assessment (PMIDs 33077895 and 37268435). The 96-metre improvement in walking distance at 168 weeks comes from Part 2, an OPEN-LABEL EXTENSION with no placebo arm, in which 10 patients enrolled and 8 reached week 168 (PMIDs 36056411, 37180415, 38602181, 40281531).
