Research: The cardiac study compared four groups: dilated cardiomyopathy (baseline left ventricular ejection fraction 16.7%), ischemic cardiomyopathy (22.6%), healthy controls (64.0 plus or minus 1.5%) and growth-hormone-deficient patients. Hexarelin raised ejection fraction in the ischemic cardiomyopathy group, the healthy controls and the growth-hormone-deficient patients, and NOT in the dilated cardiomyopathy group, the sickest of the four. The 64% once quoted here as a starting point was the healthy control group's baseline. The post-dose value and the timing previously given could not be confirmed and have been removed.
