Research: The antibacterial and antibiofilm activity is supported by in vitro work only. The melanoma study (NCT02225366) was a Phase 1/2 with FOUR participants in total, injecting LL-37 into metastatic lesions, and its primary outcomes were toxicity and optimal biological dose rather than efficacy. Four patients is not a clinical trial program.
